Location St. George's, Bermuda | Date 2017

Working with Bermuda Yacht Services, a concierge for super-yachts in Bermuda, RADstudio conceived, designed, and styled a temporary lounge for crew members to use who were in town for the 35th edition of the America's Cup held in Bermuda in the summer of 2017. The design pulled from nautical themes but reinterpreted them in a modern way; throughout the space are details comprised of materials typically found on a boat including a striking statement floor with a graphic art project reinterpreting nautical maps created by local Bermudian artist Christina Hutchings out of boat boot-striping tape. The interior is kept light and airy with a custom table in all white surrounded by stools for a central communal working space for guests. Around the raised platform, color is introduced to create an inviting and unique experience.
